It's Official!

Lee has been transferred to Station 65 in Huntsville! This is one of the brand new stations that Weber Fire built in the last year. His first shift there was Saturday the 8th, so I packed up the kids and drove the 1 min. drive to visit. We brought treats to share with Lee's new Captain and crew, I've heard that firefighters like treats. Sophia and Lee played ping-pong in the bay, and Isaac climbed all over the fire engines and ambulance. The kids had a grand time, and Isaac cried all the way home. Luckily we are only a quarter mile away. I don't know if he was more upset to leave daddy or the shiny big red trucks.

Isabelle is the new mascot. She's definately cuter than a dalmation!

Not a shabby setup, no wonder he likes being a firefighter.

I didn't think it would happen so quickly, but I feel much more secure having Lee so close. All those nights with him so far away were tough, especially with a colicky little girl. Lee loves visitors, so stop by and see him sometime.

Thanks Weber Fire! We hope he's there for a while!

Wow Lee! How cool for you! Tyson says "Grats!" We are really happy for y'all and maybe a little jealous, too!

Hooray! That's so great! What a fun outing that you drove so far to attend. That's a rarity to be so close in the valley. I hope, if we ever live there, never to need Lee's services. But we can bring treats by. Congrats!
