I feel like my brain was secretly removed from my head, and someone replaced it with a jar of pickles. I don't know if it's because of lingering pregnancy hormones, or if the dementia is already setting in. I can't stay focused on what I should be doing, and I (with the help of Isaac) have made a disaster of the house! I need someone to intervene, the craftiness is taking over my life, I don't even watch movies or read anymore, and I rarely take a bathroom break. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I do need to take a breather!
I have been taking Sophia to swimming lessons, and she loves it! After class the kids all crowd into the hot tub while I get another few minutes of trying to keep Isaac from jumping in the pool.
Swingin' Isabelly, isn't she a charmer? She is such a sweet and happy girl now, I just want to hug and squish her all day. She loves kisses and snuggles just like her big sister!
Isaac is on a new kick lately. He wakes me up in the morning by barking quietly (sometimes not so quietly) in my face. Then pointing downstairs he says "puppy num", which in Isaacese means "dog food". I have found that he will refuse to eat his breakfast unless I pour his cereal in one bowl and his milk in another and put them on the floor for my new fuzzy-headed dog. I figure that this is just a phase that he will soon grow out of, and there are worse things than having to wash twice as many breakfast dishes.
Isaac also keeps climbing into the pet carrier and barking at us. I am beginning to think that he really believes he is a dog, well an animal anyway. He tends to morph from dog, to cat, to bird, to rar(anything with sharp teeth), to horse etc. but mostly he is a dog.
shrivel up without her!

And the award for cutest preggo goes to Mindy, and the award for cutest new mommy goes to Missy! What darling girls!

Cute Mindy, cute missy, cute kiddos. Your little Isaac-pup is hilarious! And that breakfast routine - hey, you don't have to clean up the milk from the floor and the table (and the walls!) - just the floor. I think I'll start that tradition with my girls.
That's so neat that Mindy is preg..congrats to her. I feel the same way, I finally read a book a month ago for the first time in 3 year, yep 3 YEARS... I told TJ that I don't want to hear anything from him, cause as long as he gets to pee ALONE without a child trying to see what your doing, his day is great in my book... Oh remember when you could at least shut the bathroom door..lol..
I am glad to see that our son isn't the only toddler who thought he was a dog. Braden ate his meals the same way, crawled everywhere he went, and yelped instead of talked. We also got licked regularly. It lasted for a long time (years) but I am happy to report that as an eleven year old, he is back to being a boy...who really loves dogs.
