CAUTION - Picture Overload!

At the first of each school year, the PTA has a fall family festival.

Every grade sings a silly song, and there are games and food to raise money for the school.

Sophia put her heart and soul into her performance of "Chickeree Chick Charoo Charoo".
Where else can you get a horse-back ride for 50 cents?

At Isaac's "Head Start" carnival, both he and Sophia won goldfish. One lasted about 12 hours, and the other lived a record 72.

We have learned a new trick to get Isaac to cooperate more often. He is obsessed with Kokuum(Koe-koo-um) from Pocahontas. You know, the wildly popular Indian brave who dies. He calls me Hontas, and if I ask "Kokuum" to do something, or to not do something, he is about 90% more likely to comply. I have passed the secret on to his nursery leaders, they are eternally grateful! Here is a pic of him with his ornate Kokuum costume created by Tutu. He wouldn't let us remove it even for a bath, even though we asked Kokuum.

Smooching Dinos. Isaac has been officially influenced by his peers. His little friend got dinosaurs for his birthday a couple weeks ago, and Isaac's new obsession is now also dinosaurs.

I was so proud that I only spent 2 dollars on Isaac's birthday and he had a ball! Then we had a family night birthday bash for all 3 of our September birthdays yesterday at Chuck-E Cheese.

Everyone else had the same idea, the place was packed! It was a bit more than 2 dollars, but the kids had a cheesy great time, parent torture=kid heaven!
